P2P Labs

May 2026 - Present

  • - Building a Backup & Restore system for Peersky to preserve IPFS blocks, Hypercore feeds, chat history, and tab sessions across reinstalls, offline periods, and device failures.
  • - Designing portable .zip-based backup flows with CID-backed distribution over IPFS and Hypercore, alongside a companion extension for cross-browser tab imports.
  • - Improving PeerChat offline resilience with Hyperswarm local UDP multicast discovery so messaging continues over LAN when internet connectivity drops.
  • - Delivering a worker-threaded backup and restore daemon, Helia-based P2P storage integration, a first-launch tab import wizard, granular cache controls, and dynamic LAN-only fallback networking for PeerChat.
